Teams and permissions
Invite teammates, assign workspace roles, and control Social Inbox access.

Every BlendDuck workspace has one fixed owner. Owners and admins manage the workspace; editors collaborate on content with the permissions available to them. Social Inbox access can be granted separately as none, view, or manage.
Role summary
| Role | Typical access |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full workspace administration, members, billing, credentials, and policies. The owner role cannot be reassigned from the member table. |
| Admin | Manage workspace settings, invites, members, API keys, webhooks, and approval policies. |
| Editor | Create and collaborate on content and use the tools assigned to the workspace. |
Provider permissions still apply. A BlendDuck admin cannot publish to a social Page unless the connected social account has the native permission required by that provider.
Invite members
- Open Team settings.
- Choose Invite members.
- Enter the email addresses and select Admin or Editor.
- Review the addresses, then send the invitations.
Invitations are workspace-specific. Cancel an unused invitation rather than forwarding its link. Existing members and already invited addresses are shown without creating a duplicate membership.
Change access
Owners and admins can update a non-owner member's role and Social Inbox permission. Grant admin only to people who need to manage members, credentials, webhooks, billing, or approval rules.
For sensitive workflows, assign named reviewers in the approval policy instead of making every collaborator an admin. Read Content approvals.
Remove access
Review scheduled work, approval assignments, Inbox conversations, and active integrations before removing a member. Then remove or reduce access from Team settings. Also revoke the person's access on connected social platforms when they no longer manage the brand; BlendDuck workspace removal does not change native provider roles.
