BlendDuck connects 15 social providers. Every provider in the channel picker has a publishing adapter, but the exact formats, Analytics data, and Inbox actions available to a connection depend on the provider, account type, granted scopes, and app-review status.

“Yes” means BlendDuck implements the product area. It is not a guarantee that every connected account can use every action. Dashboard → Channels and the composer show the effective capabilities for the selected connection and are the source of truth at the moment you publish.
Choose the right account
- For Facebook and LinkedIn, select the Page or organization you actually administer rather than assuming a personal login is the publishing target.
- Instagram publishing and Inbox access can require a professional account and the corresponding Meta connection.
- Google Business Profile publishes to an authorized location.
- Snapchat support targets Public Profiles.
- Telegram requires a bot that already has permission in the destination chat or channel.
- Discord actions are limited by the bot's role and channel permissions.
If account discovery returns more than one target, verify the account name and avatar after connecting. A successful authorization to the wrong target is still the wrong channel.
Check a post before scheduling
- Select all intended channels in the composer.
- Open each channel's customization and preview.
- Resolve the displayed text, media, format, or account restriction.
- Use a native-platform post when a format is not represented in BlendDuck.
- Send a low-risk test post after connecting a new account or changing scopes.
Text limits and media rules change over time and can vary by format. BlendDuck validates against its current provider configuration, so the composer warning is more reliable than a copied limit in an old checklist.
Why a capability may be unavailable
| Symptom | What to check |
|---|---|
| Provider is absent from the channel picker | The deployment may not have that provider configured. |
| Connect succeeds but a Page or location is missing | Your social account may lack an admin role, or discovery permission was not granted. |
| Analytics is empty | Confirm the requested time range, wait for provider processing, and reconnect if analytics scopes were added later. |
| Inbox is read-only or absent | The provider may require app review, partner access, a privileged intent, or extra account permissions. |
| A post format is disabled | The selected account or provider does not support that format through its public API. |
Use Connect and manage social channels for setup and Troubleshooting when reconnecting does not restore an expected capability.
