Analytics

Compare provider metrics with explicit freshness, attribution, and missing-data semantics.

BlendDuck Analytics combines provider-reported post, account, follower, and audience observations in one workspace. Open Dashboard → Analytics after connecting a channel.

Start with data coverage

Provider jobs refresh supported analytics streams for connected channels. The freshness banner distinguishes:

  • data that is ready for the provider's reporting window;
  • normal provider reporting delay;
  • a rate limit or failed request; and
  • a missing permission that requires reconnecting the channel.

The displayed data through time is part of the result. BlendDuck does not turn delayed or unavailable fields into zero.

Build a comparison

Use a 7, 30, or 90 day preset, or choose an absolute date range. Compare it with the previous period, week, month, or year. Filters can narrow the same query to channels, campaign tags, and content kinds such as feed posts or Reels/Shorts, while the metric picker controls cards and the active chart.

Saved views preserve the range rule, comparison, timezone, filters, metrics, grouping, and post sort for your account.

Read the result

  • Overview switches between Total and By platform, shows metric deltas, a timezone-aware series, channel coverage, freshness, evidence-linked takeaways, and Top 3 posts by impressions or engagements.
  • Insights compares content types, campaign tags, attribution source, AI model, topic, approval status, weekdays, local publish hours, and posting frequency over the complete filtered set—not only the visible post page.
  • Posts preserves native post identity and opens a drilldown with all known metrics, data-through time, native link, topic, AI/model attribution, tags, and complete approval cycles with ordered decisions where available.
  • Audience shows only provider-aggregated segments; BlendDuck does not store individual audience profiles.

Timing and content rankings are correlations with visible sample sizes. They are not causal promises.

Export and agent access

The Export menu downloads unpaged CSV files for posts, summary, time series, channels, or insights, and can generate a Markdown report. Public API clients use GET /api/v1/analytics with analytics:read; the read-only MCP tool get_analytics exposes the same range, comparison, filter, metric, sort, pagination, freshness, and attribution concepts to OAuth-authorized agents. Approval projections exclude reviewer email, approver membership, and the immutable review content snapshot.

The Reports menu saves a fixed or rolling view with selected sections. Sections can be added, removed, and reordered by drag or Arrow Up/Down against a live outline. Opening a report re-queries its complete post set; the rendered result can be downloaded as PNG or printed/saved as PDF by the browser.

Provider availability depends on platform approval, account type, credentials, and granted analytics scopes. An implemented adapter does not guarantee that a specific production account has access.

To turn these controls into a repeatable client or team deliverable, follow the Analytics reporting playbook.
