Create, preview, and publish posts

Build one multi-channel post, customize each target, and choose the right delivery mode.

BlendDuck uses one logical post to keep shared planning, campaigns, media, and approvals together. Every selected channel becomes an independent target with its own content, settings, validation, schedule, and delivery result.

Start a post

Open New post or choose an empty time in Calendar. Select the channels first so the composer can show the fields and limits that apply.

Add the shared caption, media, campaign tags, and schedule. Shared values are a starting point; they do not erase channel-specific variations you create next.

Customize each channel

Open a channel variation to adjust its caption, media, first comment, thread, post type, or provider fields. Use this to shorten text, change aspect ratio, remove unsupported attachments, or use a network-native feature.

Review each preview and validation result. A warning explains a possible quality or provider issue; a blocking error must be fixed before that target can be scheduled or published.

Choose a delivery mode

ModeUse it when
DraftWork is incomplete or should stay private to the workspace.
ScheduleEvery target should publish at a specific date and time.
Next availableThe post should use the next open slot in the channel timetable.
PrioritizeThe post should take the earliest queue slot and move later work back.
Publish nowThe final content should be sent to the provider immediately.

The displayed timezone controls how Calendar renders the time. The stored schedule remains an exact instant, including across daylight-saving changes.

Send for approval

When the workspace uses required approval, choose Send for approval instead of publishing. Reviewers approve a frozen version of the shared content and every target variation. Any later editorial change invalidates that approval.

Read Content approvals for the current dashboard rule, reviewer selection, and version invalidation behavior.

Follow delivery

Open the post from Calendar to inspect every target. Typical states are draft, scheduled, publishing, published, failed, and cancelled. The shared post can therefore be partially successful when one network publishes and another rejects its target.

For a failure, keep the original post, fix the reported cause, and retry the failed target. Avoid creating a duplicate while provider acceptance is ambiguous. See Troubleshooting for recovery steps.

Edit or cancel safely

Editing a scheduled post re-runs provider validation and can invalidate a pending approval. Published native content may not be editable through every provider. Cancelling stops targets that have not been accepted by a provider; it does not delete a post that is already live on the social network.
