Account and workspace settings
Manage profile privacy, workspace identity, members, approvals, channels, integrations, and destructive actions.

BlendDuck separates personal account controls from workspace controls. Personal privacy choices apply to the signed-in account. Workspace settings affect the shared brand, members, connected channels, content, and developer resources.
Settings map
Open Dashboard → Settings and use the sidebar:
| Area | What it controls | Typical access |
|---|---|---|
| User profile | Account identity, authentication details, privacy choices, and data requests | Signed-in member |
| Billing | Plan, allowance, and subscription management | Workspace owner or billing administrator |
| General | Workspace name and current status | Owner or admin to edit |
| Team & access | Invitations, roles, and Inbox access | Owner or admin |
| Approvals | Review policy and approval stages | Owner or admin |
| Integrations | Workflow and external service connections | Depends on role and integration |
| Channels | Connected social accounts and effective capabilities | Depends on workspace role |
| Brand Soul | Brand identity, voice, audience, and guardrails | Authorized workspace members |
| Knowledge Base | Factual source documents used by content assistance | Authorized workspace members |
| Developer | API keys, operations, and MCP tools | Owner or admin |
If a control is read-only or absent, first verify your workspace role. A social platform role and a BlendDuck workspace role are separate: both may be required to reconnect or manage a channel.
Account data and privacy
In User profile → Data & privacy, you can:
- export a portable JSON copy of account data;
- allow or withdraw optional product analytics;
- allow or withdraw marketing communications;
- review recent data-request receipts and their status.
Exported data is downloaded by the browser. Store it securely because it can contain workspace and account information. Withdrawing optional consent does not disable processing that is required to provide the service or meet legal obligations.
The account name, email, authentication provider, and UI locale are displayed for reference. Some identity fields are managed by the authentication provider rather than edited on this screen.
Rename a workspace
- Open Settings → General.
- Enter a workspace name of at least two characters.
- Choose Save changes.
Only owners and admins can edit the name. The new name appears across the dashboard and shared content, so tell collaborators when renaming a client or brand workspace.
Use Teams and permissions for member access, Content approvals for review rules, and Connect and manage social channels for provider credentials.
Before deleting data
Account and workspace deletion are destructive and cannot be undone from the dashboard.
Before deleting a workspace:
- export any content or account data that must be retained;
- review scheduled posts, campaigns, active subscriptions, integrations, API clients, and webhooks;
- move or recreate anything another workspace still needs;
- tell collaborators that access will end;
- enter the exact workspace name to confirm.
Deleting a workspace removes its Brand Soul, conversations, scheduled content, credentials, and associated data. Deleting an account can also remove owned workspaces, uploaded objects, and application content; paid resources, active campaigns, or legal holds may need to be resolved first. Account deletion requires entering the account email.
Never share a screenshot of a settings page that exposes an API key, provider token, personal record, or billing detail. Rotate a credential immediately if it is pasted into a public comment or repository.
